In addition to large quantity orders, we can also accommodate low-volume needs and prototypes in a variety of shapes and sizes. Prototypes are often produced as a means to validate fit and function, or as a way to evaluate alternative designs.
Prototyping and Low-volume production
At Global Precision Parts, we offer a quick and cost-effective solution to meeting low-volume and prototype needs. We use an innovative EUROtech multitasking turning center for low-volume projects. This machining center is a perfect blend of world-class technology and old-fashioned craftsmanship, while being able to operate unattended without a problem.
This system has multiple spindles that operate on different axes, allowing us to machine different features of a prototype or part at the same time. This allows us to provide a rapid turnaround on short-run orders of complicated parts. Our EUROtech machine is capable of running nearly any part up to a 2 ⅝ inch outside diameter.
We also have a variety of other machining capabilities at your disposal, such as CNC machining, multi-spindle machining, and hydromats, and our team can manufacture parts with diameters ranging from an eighth of an inch to 6 inches max.
