CNC Machining
Global Precision Parts invests in a variety of computer numerically-controlled equipment to produce accurate components with superior precision. Our CNC machines allow us to produce standard and customized precision parts that meet our high standards.
CNC Machining – a quick introduction
CNC Machining is a broad term that covers any computer numerically-controlled machining process where material is removed from a workpiece. These types of manufacturing processes are incredibly versatile and efficient, producing even complex components quickly, consistently and accurately. Thanks to the guidance of computer programs, CNC machining also eliminates human error, repeatedly producing parts with greater accuracy, and at much tighter tolerances.
CNC Machining at Global Precision Parts
Global Precision Parts has invested in CNC Turning, horizontal and vertical machining centers that allow us to machine even the most complex parts to the high tolerances often required in industries, such as Aerospace, Medical, and Defense. We manufacture parts from bar stock that are 1/8th inch to 6 inches in diameter.
In addition to our traditional CNC equipment, we also have a EUROtech Elite Multi-tasking Turning Center. The EUROtech utilizes world-class technology without compromising craftsmanship, and can easily operate unattended. This machine is capable of running nearly any part up to 2-5/8 inch outside diameter.
We can machine a wide range of materials, including:
- Steel Alloys
- Aluminum
- Brass,
- Magnesium
- Plastics
- Stainless steel
- Nickel alloys
